What our participants are saying:
  • This workshop - in bite-sized pieces! - helped me to identify and prioritize the partnership tasks I need to complete, and to create real-life metrics to assess my partnerships.
  • I found this to be a very enjoyable experience. and especially appreciated listening to what other participants were doing.  I came away with some great ideas and pointers.
  • I've been doing partnership activities for a long time in a lot of different contexts but, honestly, the biggest gain has been having a methodology to develop a model and plan.  Structure rules!
  • I gained lots of information about different partnership models; it was interesting to see them broken down.  The models have given me clarifying language and a way to understand how to work with which partners - not all partnerships are alike!
  • Most critical?  The importance of being strategic and organized when building/maintaining partnerships!
  • Our team's biggest takeaway was the setting aside of time to plan and assess our partnership efforts in detail.  We appreciate this opportunity for providing our team with the motivation and activities to do so.
  • I really like the partnership rubric and how to use it for goal setting and assessing partnerships.  It will be vital to our work moving forward.

How we work together:
  • Workshop cohorts meet virtually for 90 minutes once a week.  Participants benefit from short presentations by industry, experienced PIs and others, working collaboratively, and completing short exercises that culminated in action plans which are presented during the final session.
  • Participants have 24/7 access to online resources and connectivity tools during and after the workshop.
  • Cohorts continue to meet during the following year for additional presentations, to share successes, strategies and challenges, and to schedule one-on-one support sessions as needed.
